We, as modern-day food consumers, are almost entirely disconnected from nearly every single factor of our food system.

From soil to seed to storefront, we have lost nearly every connection we have with the process in the name of convenience.

I started My Heirloom Kitchen to document my journey as I work to rebuild my personal connection with the food I prepare and to remind others of the reverence that is due to each and every ingredient we bring into our kitchens.

Follow along as I work to bridge traditional cooking tools and methods with contemporary flavors and pay homage to the many wonderful people in my life who bring me inspiration.
